We expect the industry to do close to 6 GW of wind installations in FY26.
Our order book is predominantly for CNA segment and the PSU segment which is not going to stop... we will definitely touch 85-90 GW by 2030.
Solar plus battery can never ever replace wind... different combinations of solar plus storage, wind plus storage, solar plus wind plus storage would come in depending upon the load profile of different states.
This quarter has been high because of for two or three reasons: certain high average sales price orders that have got delivered in this quarter and also there has been a lower project activity due to the early onset of monsoon.
The successfully launch and maiden order for S175 in India alongside the Blue Sky platform marks Suzlon's return to advanced global markets. With S175 and S163, Suzlon is expanding its technology portfolio with high capacity turbines. And we are pleased to report high and deliver superior yields, better reliability and lower LCOE, unlocking opportunities across repowering and new build projects worldwide.
Q1 FY27 is impacted due to the above factors and in the long term we continue to grow in line with our ambitions set up for Suzlon 2.0 at 25% CAGR for the next 5 years.
If I have to achieve 2031 goals I need to start and I think we already started with that. So basically what Rahul was saying typically we've been operating at about 17-18% margin. Our endeavor will be to remain in that realm, give or take 0.5% up and down.
The EPC route is actually risk mitigation not the risk creation—it would significantly increase our capacity because we are the only player who can provide value along with the land.
With all my experience I can say that this (solar plus battery storage only) is being spoken by people who do not understand the sector. You will never hear this from ignition players. The cost per unit with solar plus wind plus battery comes to around ₹2.65-2.70 versus ₹6.5 for solar plus battery only.
I don't think order book would be an issue for us for the next at least couple of years. We have a significant pipeline under various discussions and we're making this statement based on clear pipeline of discussions with various clients.
Issue is not that how much can we supply in a quarter. We can actually supply 1,100 megawatt in a quarter if there is a consistent uptake from the projects. Problem is execution is killing us ours as well as others.
Even after 4,200 crores of cumulative profit from now on, we will not pay a single rupee of tax. We will not pay single rupee of tax. That's one part of it. Even after whatever happened in quarter three, we still have that much sitting in our bank.
Without storage renewable energy will not grow... storage is mandatory. We said clearly the standalone solar will not grow unless solar and wind is there. This is our stated stand for the 5 years when people ridiculed us.
For FY26, Suzlon transitioned into a scaled, profitable and financially strong market leader in wind sector. Suzlan delivered a record 830 megawatt in quarter 4 and 2,456 megawatt in FI26 which is our ever highest deliveries in India.
Our end-to-end wind energy model supported by an integrated supply chain, strong execution and industry-leading service provides a competitive edge that is unique and difficult for others to match.
We have 9 GW of S144 orders. I think it's one of its kind. I was quite thrilled when I met people across those two three days at Wind Europe with very very active pipeline of some of the leading developers, top companies.
