What was it really doing is it's improving the productivity of our people. AI is really improving the productivity of our people which reflects directly in reduced effort and reduced headcount with customers, but then the customer is spending that budget somewhere else.
We had four hunters. We now have only one hunter. Three hunters have been fired because of non-performers, but they've been replaced by client partners... if we focus on existing customers we will grow our business faster than if we focus on new logos.
This is the biggest challenge as you scale up because the focus is on growing revenues. It doesn't matter where it comes from. So even if our top customer gives us more revenues, we're going to take the revenue and not worry about increasing client concentration.
The only thing I would say is it can only be positive because the fact that there is a deal means that there is an upbeat environment of spending with a partner like India. So I would say there will be more openness to use Indian suppliers as well as offshoring.
Now the team that got us to 1,000 crores it is not necessarily the team that will get us to 5,000 crores. Now some will and some won't. Now the challenge is jettisoning or getting letting go the ones that won't and bringing in the new talent that will get us there.
The minute it picks up, you should see steady growth quarter on quarter. Our pipeline is really strong. I would say it's probably the strongest it's ever been in the last, you know, history of the company. It's just that decision making is slow.
AI will level the playing field much more and the bigger players have more to lose than companies like us. Companies of our size being nimble and very quick to react have more to gain because of the AI disruption than the market leaders.
We are shooting for 30% growth now will 30% happen... it's going to be a tough call. Historically last couple of years we've done 14-15%. I will put my money more on that than on the 30%. But you never know, Vikas. We need a few good breaks.
