We are targeting to achieve about 10% of contribution through the international business of the overall top line. We are more or less very near to that target. We are operating somewhere in the range of 8%-10% over the past two to three quarters. What we have realized is that the international opportunity is quite large, and it might be possible that the contribution might increase.
Within two years, we have reached to almost INR 14,000 crore of annualized revenue. We believe in next two, three, four quarters, we'd like to recalibrate that guidance and see whether we want to revisit a timeline of fiscal 2026 to achieve INR 20,000 crore.
This volatility was quite high, and that is where the distributors, they obviously would not want to miss out on the lower prices that might be available to them in the next month. That is where there was a slowdown as far as channel sales are concerned.
We believe that there should be a pickup in the demand for wires over the course of next 2 quarters. And if that pans out, there should be an improvement in mix more towards wires going ahead.
The past quarter was a bit weak because of a softness in one of our largest geographies. But again, one needs to take a yearly view rather than a quarterly view as far as this business is concerned.
We don't give near-term to yearly guidance. Our guidance is for the longer term. It is more like five-year guidance. And that is where we've given an 11% - 13% of a better margin in the cables and wires business as our guidance.
While capacity will come up for the industry, that advantage will help us. Over and above that, the kind of investments and growth that we are witnessing from various bank sectors, that also helps in absorbing the new capacity which are coming up from other players.
The government rooftop solar scheme is there, and yet, I think only 20% of that has taken off. Until those schemes continue, at least next few years, we are expecting continuous demand for the solar inverters.
