Asked about aftermarket segment high single-digit growth sustainability and what changed

We've had some low growth period last year with our aftermarket and made quite some corrections in our strategy and approach to market. The independent aftermarket business did very robust growth with contribution from lubricants, batteries, spark plugs, braking systems and rotating machines. We believe this is a sustainable path over the coming period.

Asked if 14% margin is sticky or has one-offs; how confident on margins going forward

We've done quite a few things over the last several years consistently which has led to sustained improvement. Operational excellence, increased localization content, favorable volume growth, productivity improvements, and favorable product mix. We are on an upward trend and we will sustain this.

Asked about purchase goods mix shift toward parent imports at decade-high 53%

There's been a certain surge in volumes which have also led to this effect but all I can state is that our localization plans are well on track and consistently increasing localization content. We will continue to go in this path.

Asked if Bosch will capture revenue from ICE cleaner technologies or only from new energy

We are a technology company and we will support whatever technology the market demands. There is momentum which will carry combustion technologies forward including alternate fuels. This progression will continue in the next many years. Upgraded legislation in combustion technologies is coming and we are certainly leading that wave.

Asked if OEMs owning software/electronics threatens Bosch's tier 1 value capture

Today it's an earnings call. I would be happy to engage with you on this kind of conversation separately. The quick answer is no we don't see this as a negative phenomenon at all. We are happy to engage with OEMs on different models and we already do.

Asked what drove power solutions outperformance and how sustainable it is

In power solutions business we've outperformed growth across all segments from passenger cars to off highway and tractors. The effect is largely volume effect and some new introductions over last two quarters. CAFE 3 Phase 3 coming in April should be an even better boost. CVAS coming in October next year is another area for sustaining growth.

Asked about 2-wheeler market share gain versus mix/content benefit

We've gained market share. Yes, there are some new products introduced to new OEMs. So we've gained market share here.

Asked about export revenue percentage and growth trajectory for next 2-3 years

Currently we see high single-digit trend. We are at 8% now if I'm not wrong 8 and a half percent and we will continue to increase this moving forward. Over the next couple of years this is on an increase.

Asked how much revenue growth is volume versus content per vehicle/mix

I would say we have outperformed the volume growth in the market by a few percentage points.

Asked about JV regulatory approval status and when revenue will flow in

The JVs are in the process of getting set up. Both JVs are in their final stages of merger controls. The JV with Taco will be operational out of Nashik. The JV with TSF group will be operational out of Chennai. The Eaxle JV revenue should be coming out by late next year.
